Treating IBS

Hypnotherapy can be an effective way to relieve the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)—a common and often distressing digestive condition. It’s estimated that around one in five people will experience IBS at some point, most frequently between the ages of 20 and 30. The condition tends to affect women about twice as often as men, and symptoms can range from mild discomfort to significant pain and disruption.

As a gentle yet powerful approach, hypnotherapy helps individuals manage their symptoms, rebuild confidence, and feel more comfortable in daily life. The NHS, through the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), recognises hypnotherapy as an evidence-based treatment option for IBS.

In recent years, research on the treatment of IBS with hypnotherapy has intensified, with promising results. To read about relvant resach pleace scroll down here.
